Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to examine the combined effect of ginger supplement and Aerobic 
exercise on primary dysmenorehae of aboker preparatory school female students. aboker 
preparatory school female students with the age group between seventeen to twenty- years were 
selected by purposively samplining techniques from the total of three hundred ninety six female 
students Those selected sixty subjects completed the study from the initial to the end. This study 
was used purposively sampling techniques to select the sample. experimental group was 
consume ginger supplement but control group continued only aerobic exercise. Both groups 
were performed aerobic exercise 3 days per a week and the duration of the training time was 40 
minute.Pre test and post tests were conducted in all variables, such as VAS,MSQ andBMI.
Collected data from the subjects were analyzed by SPSS version 20 and comparison of mean 
value result was carried out bypared sample T test. The level of significance was p< 0.05. The 
result of this study indicated that all variables from pre test to post test showed significant 
change with the mean difference of: The MSQ test from pre to post test showed positive 
significant change for ginger supplement group. Also VAS pre to post test showed significant 
change (MD, 0.066) for aerobic group and(MD, 1.800) for ginger supplement group and BMI 
pre to post test showed (MD, -0.130) foraerobic group and (MD, 0.066) for ginger supplement 
group. In general from this study the researcher conclude that ginger supplement with aerobic 
exercise had positive effect on primary dysmenorrhea to reduce pain during menstruation
